Dr. Kathleen Funk is the owner and head practitioner of Acufunkture, an integrative medical practice in Houston, TX. A 4th generation traditional healer and intuitive, Kathleen is a licensed acupuncturist, functional medical practitioner, and holds a doctorate in Chinese medicine. She has guest lectured at Baylor University, Dell Medical School at UT, and MD Anderson Cancer Center. Kathleen has been a student of martial arts, meditation and energetics for over 20 years. She loves teaching mindfulness classes that help people tap into their innate healing potential.

Nicole Evelina is a USA Today bestselling author telling the stories of strong women from history and today. Of her books, which comprise of historical fiction, non-fiction, and women’s fiction, six (6) have won more than 40 awards, including four Book of the Year designations.
